Much Going On In The Universe These Days

Because there is so much energy shifting right now, and many of you are wondering “What the heck is going on here?” — I decided it’s time to share with you some more links, to articles and sites that offer some explanations and insight to this question.  I know that I have had more than one “Aha!” moment by reading them, and I think they might be of value to you as well.

So here they are (in no particular order):

Karen Bishop has some new books out, and quite a lot to say about how the shifts are affecting you — and some helpful suggestions for what to do about it.  I like reading her insights even when they don’t precisely match what I’m experiencing — because sooner or later someone will ask me about the same thing 🙂 Visit her site here.  Be sure to check the latest report, in case there’s a new one posted.

Patricia Cota-Robles talks about an event happening August 15-20th, 2009 in Tucson, Arizona:  a World Congress on Illumination.  Through the Law of Resonance, all humans of like heart and mind can participate in stabilizing the extraordinary amount of Light that is awakening throughout the Universe, whether the timing of the event is “now” or “past”.  It’s worth a look at her site to learn more:  Era of Peace. (Enjoy the nice music, too!)

And last but certainly not least, Tom Kenyon channels an entity known as the Hathors, who have some important things to say about the predicted Swine Flu pandemic, how to stay well, and how to stay centered through the current and coming changes.  I personally liked these a lot!  They are very hopeful and empowering. Here are the latest links I suggest you read:

Lies, Half-Truths and Manipulations

Ecstasy and The Heart on how to focus (this should help those of you who wonder if you have ADD. . . )

The Holon of Balance on thriving through the earth changes

The Holon of Ascension on how to adjust during the solar storms and flares, and how they will affect you

The common thread I find in all these messages is this:

  • Stay centered and connected to Source no matter WHAT happens!
  • Turn from both fear and anger in yourself and when you encounter it in others; refuse to participate
  • Keep breathing and seek the joy
  • Remember the 11:11 (as above, so below) — and follow the 11:11 Laws to your best ability)

These steps will serve you well always, not just under challenging circumstances.  Make it your business to master them — and then teach it to others if they ask 🙂

Let me know if you have any questions about these topics; I’d be happy to respond.

Today Might Be A Good Day For Joy

There is a lot of tension in the world this day. You can experience it in many ways, but it helps if you recognize what is coming from your own energy field, and what you are picking up from outside it. There is a LOT going on “outside”!

I’d like to share with you something that will help. This goes back to the WingMakers discovery I made several months ago. I promised that you’d be hearing more. Here we go!

Changing Your Belief System

When I consider how many challenges we are facing in the world right now, and how far it seems we may have to go to reach solutions that work for everyone, I think about how many different belief systems are in conflict in the world, and what can be done to harmonize them.

Today I want to share several things with you, including a book I just learned about that provides a new insight and framework to understand how beliefs are created ~ and how they change.

Sure To Get You Smiling

OK folks, in the midst of a lot of rather bad things happening, we need to remember that there are some great people who are doing good things.

I just wrote a post about one on my other blog, and if you will take ten seconds to go visit there (it’s worth it just to look at the picture of a tiny kitten in its rescuer’s hand) ~ iI think it will put a smile on your face.

Go take a look at Harry. (nope, not Harry Potter. Harry The Kitten.)

Hurricane Ike Aftermath

That was one big storm system for sure! While I suppose no one is happy with the damage and loss of life that resulted, readers of this blog can know one thing for certain (and it’s no small comfort, this. . . ): it could have been so much worse, without the work we did.

Here’s why.

There is no other way to say this. My dear friend Cyn Liggett, who is Executive Director of a fabulous program called Life’s Headwaters (and where I tithe several hours a month as a volunteer coach) sent me to several completely awesome new web sites.

You just have to go look — and hear. . .I can’t begin to describe it. But I’ll tell you this. When i got there, it made me weep with joy.

New Posts From Karen Bishop

Karen Bishop writes a regular column called What’s Up On Planet Earth. I’ve been reading it for some time now, and find it very useful in helping me explain to clients some of the things we are experiencing — if for no other reason than to make us all feel that no, we might only FEEL like we’re going crazy. We’re having a perfectly normal evolutionary moment!

Here’s what’s in today’s 2-part post. . . Continue Reading »

Turn From What Is Not Loving

As the Universal energies accelerate, for many of us it can feel overwhelming at times. It can feel a little like “growing pains” ~~ not all of our systems are synchronizing with each other and with the moving energies. It could be that different aspects of our being are growing or adjusting at different rates. All of this can be downright uncomfortable, to say the least!

Then add in the factors of what the rest of the world may be doing, thinking or feeling — and it can all feel like “too much.”

Just please know, if that sounds familiar, that you are definitely not alone — and that there will come a time of integration and peace for each of us, even if at different rates and times. But it WILL happen.

So what do you do while you are “in the birth tunnel”?

Breathe! Know that a portion of what you may be sensing or experiencing is not strictly “yours” but could be what you notice moving through the world as a human wave of change; all you really need to handle is YOUR piece of it, not ALL of it! Big difference.

And, I would like to offer what I hope is a useful bit of advice given to me by my guides some years ago. It has stood me in good stead ever since. I pass it along to you here.

Turn from what is not loving around you. Do not engage with it, in any way. Put your attention on something you wish to create, instead. It’s like switching channels on the TV. Simple, once you get the hang of it.

Turn from what is not loving within you. As soon as you notice yourself reacting to something (like getting angry at how stupid some people are acting), remember to let it go. “Don’t go there!” Instead, return to the place inside you that is always connected to Source. Get out into Nature as fast as you can, and spend some time there. It will restore you.

Turn from what is not loving above you. Where authority is concerned, Indigos are already hard-wired to refuse to accept what does not come from Love or Truth. We are automatically “at odds” with the structures and systems that seem to have power over cultures and societies. The useful path will, from here on out, be to stay centered in the power of your own truth and to come from love always, yourself. This is a matter of personal discipline. Exercise this muscle liberally! The world needs our model, to survive. Don’t go into conflict over anything. Connect inside to THE highest authority of all: Source. And stay there. No matter what.

Turn from what is not loving beneath you. There will be turmoil among those who have not yet awakened. Rather than engage them at the base levels where they struggle, simply love them with compassion. You can only shine Light, you cannot truly lift anyone who does not wish to rise. Let them reach for their own Light — and their own connections to Source. At that place, you can meet and help. Do not venture beyond that threshold. Word to the wise. . .

You are always connected to Source, which is Absolute Love. Remember this in all conditions and circumstances. You can’t go wrong.

And in truth, this one practice can and will change the world and bring a lasting Peace.

Please join me in this adventure ~ it is a path filled with Light and Joy.

When It Gets Weird Out There

Yesterday was one of those days I will remember for how strange it was. Here’s one example. While I was standing in line at the Post Office (hey, we all know how well Indigos like to wait in line, right???) — I was coping with the inconvenience by practicing my breathing exercises — when I could not help but overhear the following transactions:

  • A lady who speaks English badly asks the postal clerk if he can help her. She says she wants to get her friend’s mail for her. Her friend is in Colorado and has a mailbox here. But she doesn’t have the right mailbox number. The clerk tells her the friend needs to give her the mailbox number and the key, or they can’t help her. The lady says the friend forgot the box number, but she made her a copy of the key. The postal clerk tells her that it’s illegal to copy a postal box key, and the lady shows her the copy of the key her friend sent her. It wasn’t even a US post office box key! Sorry, lady. . . (So what was THAT all about anyway???)
  • Next, we have the guy who moved 6 months ago and insists the post office is still holding his mail, even though they explain to him 4 times how it works. Finally he agrees to fill out a change of address form. Whew. That one’s solved.
  • Then, there is the lady who dropped a letter into an outside mailbox and realized too late that it was for the wrong address. She wants to know how she can get it back. The clerk asks her how long ago this was. She tells him 5 weeks ago. Sorry, lady. . . you should have gotten the letter back by return mail (return to sender.) Well, that’s a problem because. . . she forgot to put a return address on the letter. (No, that’s not a punch line for a joke, this is a real transaction.) She asks if there is a “dead letter” place where it would go. The clerk says yes — and that there are more than 500 items in it currently. It’s the last task anyone ever does around there, so it might take a while to find. But, they have no idea which post office the letter might have been sent to, either. It might not be this one. And each P.O. has their own “dead letter” place. The lady wants them to somehow find it for her. They patiently explain they can’t do that. She leaves disappointed. As if it’s the post office’s fault. Hmmmm.
  • Finally, I am just about up to the counter for my turn when I hear a lady talking on her cell phone. This is what I (and everyone else in line) hear: “Mom. I’d rather you just get a dog than a companion. You remember what happened last time, don’t you?” (Aw and she’s not going to tell us the rest of the story???? I bet this would make a terrific assignment for a writing class: finish THAT story!)

When I finally reached the counter, I asked the clerk in a low voice, “Tell me something. Did someone declare this to be Bring Your Strangest Problems To The Post Office Day? Because I didn’t get the memo! I only have an ordinary transaction.” The clerk roared laughing.
The rest of the day included frantic emails back and forth from someone who wanted to purchase some of my products — until she learned about the high tariffs of export to Japan.
One of my regular payments that always comes like clockwork got messed up and will be delayed 10 days instead.

Strange things happened online, that have never happened before or since.

A squirrel ran right out in front of my car. I screeched to a halt before I hit it. It stopped and sat in the middle of the street on its hind legs, looking at me. I waited until it decided which way it wanted to go. Thank goodness it was a side street with no other traffic.

Someone left a message on my voice mail and gave the wrong call back number. I’ll have to wait and see if they call again to return their call. Hope they don’t wait too long. (Memo to self: always make sure you leave the correct number when you leave a phone message. . . )

And so on.

Some days are like that. It’s not worth fussing about them. In fact if you can see the Lighter side, they are downright hilarious! And you know what? You can help — on days like that — by taking it Lightly yourself. Don’t stress. Help the rest of the world deal with it better by showing the humorous side to it — and wait. It will definitely pass!

Transpartisanship: A “Ship” Whose Time Has Come

There is a new movement afoot, and it’s called Transpartisanship. I am inspired by it, and I think it may provide some of the answers for the challenging paths that lie ahead of us in the very near future.

Go here to learn what it’s all about, and see if it’s something you’d care to share with others:

Let’s go where no one has ever gone before (sorry, trekkies, I couldn’t resist. . . )
