Magnetic Waves Cause Northern Lights
Did you catch the news this past week about how scientists think they have discovered what causes the Northern Lights?
Writing for the Associated Press, Marcia Dunn reports that geomagnetic storms that are related to the sun cause waves in the earth’s atmospheric magnetic field.
Seems that some of the changes we’re experiencing are really lovely to behold!
Maybe we should keep that in mind next time our computers fail in a sunspot storm. . . there will probably be more of them soon.
Just a thought.
